As said in my previous blog, I’m super interested in coding. It’s my major, it’s my future career, it’s something I find very interesting. However, I still like to express myself artistically (whether I’m good or not). I want to be able to spice it up a bit and make it, you know, less boring. The best way to do it all?

So, getting to the actual point of this (and relating it to class), this week has been pretty fun for me. I had a very hefty workload and was very stressed but being able to think of designs for my website brought me some relief. And a break from my coding lab which took me a combined total of about 25 hours.

It’s what I picture part of my future projects in the real world to look like and that brings me excitement and eagerness. I’ve been using a combination of sketch apps and
I had a little trouble getting used to Figma at first, but I still think it’s very helpful. I’ve looked up some tutorials and I’m getting the hang of it for the most part, but I like to be able to screenshot it and make notes with extra ideas and tips. I plan on trying multiple applications until I find one that I’m super comfortable with and can use with ease.
